Inaugurated in 2015, the Singapore Regional Business Forum (SRBF®) - SBF’s annual signature event - is a high-profile, inclusive, and constructive platform for top business leaders, government officials, thought leaders, and policymakers to explore policy development, economic vision, and business and investment-related opportunities in the region.
Approximately 300 prominent speakers and panelists from Singapore and other Southeast Asian countries, China, Japan, South Korea, Australia, the United States, the European Union, and beyond have shared their experience and expertise on various business-related topics in the past six editions of SRBF®. The sessions were attended by close to 5,000 participants from over 60 countries either physically or virtually, as almost three-quarters of the participants were C-suite & senior management level.
SBF will take SRBF® to the region for the first time and this inaugural overseas edition of SRBF® will be held in Hanoi, Vietnam. 2023 marks the 50th anniversary of the bilateral relationship and the 10th anniversary of the Strategic Partnership between Singapore and Vietnam.
In the economically dynamic Southeast Asian region, Vietnam stands out as a rising star with abundant opportunities for global business communities. The choice of Vietnam also reflects the importance Singapore places on growing our bilateral relationship, especially in expanding business cooperation to new growth areas such as the digital economy, cyber security, clean energy, sustainable development, and smart cities.
The theme of the one-day forum is “Strengthening Regional Collaboration for Sustainable Growth”, and will comprise three plenary sessions, dialogues with political officeholders, and business matching/networking sessions. More than 500 participants including top business leaders and senior government officials from over 30 countries are expected to attend the event.
